What was sent

The original marketplace paid sellers by holding their proceeds until they withdrew them, and kept NFTs in escrow while they were on auction. When Mintra went offline, some of that was never collected. All of it was sent to its owners in 29 transactions. The contract functions used here can only pay the rightful owner, no matter who sends the transaction.

Plus 407 NFTs from 194 collections: 24 went to the winning bidders of auctions that had ended, and 383 went back to sellers whose auctions ended without a bid.

What couldn't be settled: 47 auctions

None of these auctions had a bid, so no one's money is stuck. Only the sellers' NFTs are, and for reasons no one can override.

35 PNS names that expired while on auction

A .pls name only works while it's registered. These expired while they sat in auctions on the original marketplace, and their 30-day grace periods have passed, so the market's copy no longer counts and can't be moved or renewed.

What sellers can do: 34 of the names are free to register again on the PNS app, by the original seller or anyone else. zapdos.pls has already been registered by someone else.

12 NFTs in collections that can never transfer again

These belong to 5 of the frozen collections listed below. Their transfers were switched off after the NFTs went into auctions, so the market can't hand them back.

The 12 NFTs

Frozen collections: 28

Every NFT in these collections is permanently locked. They were made with thirdweb's drop contract, which can turn transfers off. In each of these, transfers are off and every admin permission has been given up.

Can they ever be unfrozen? No. Moving a token needs a transfer permission that no wallet holds, and only an admin could grant it. There are no admins left, and the contracts can't be upgraded. Not the creator, not Mintra, not anyone can turn transfers back on. Owners can still burn their tokens. Some creators may have made their collections non-transferable on purpose.

Mintra checks every collection for this automatically. Listings in frozen collections are hidden, and trade buttons on their NFTs are disabled with an explanation.

Technical details

Each is an EIP-1167 clone of a thirdweb DropERC721, DropERC1155, SignatureDrop or TokenERC721 implementation, so its code can't change. hasRole(TRANSFER_ROLE, address(0)) is false, getRoleMemberCount(TRANSFER_ROLE) is 0 and getRoleMemberCount(DEFAULT_ADMIN_ROLE) is 0. Transfers other than mints and burns revert with !Transfer-Role.
